This is the first time I make a puppet! It's really exciting and interesting. I use Paper Clay, Aluminium foil，Paper roll, Model ball, Acrylic paint, Steel wool, Sockes, Milk container to make it.
I decided to make a grandpa and then draw a draft for it.
First step: I use a paper roll to support , it would be the foundation for the whole puppet.
Second step:Using Aluminium foil to make the model of the head in order to avoid too heavy of the head.
Third step: Using Paper clay to make its head and hand. Using Model Ball to make its eye balls.(It is softer and more smooth than paper clay, so it's appropriate to make eye ball.) And now, just waiting the Paper clay to dry.
4th Step: Using Acrylic painting to paint its head! Now It's a little bit like a human now.. I added some Steel Wool on its head to be his hair
5th Step: I used my socks to make a sweater for him.
6th Step: I used Milk container to make his body, and then arranged all these parts together, and the grandpa appeared! It's an angry elderly man, it's a little bit scary, because he is mad on his cat.
